At Bridge Street Dental Surgery our community truly matters to all of our team.
Prior to COVID 19 our team have always been heavily involved in the community over the last 9 years; Oral health education, food bank collections and provided support for many events.
Our community story
In 2015 the practice flooded, this brought the community of Tadcaster closer together. Nicola, the Practice Manager established "Tadcaster Flood Action Group" charity with a neighbouring business, David. The Group raised over £70,000 purchasing; two flood pumps for the town, water safety equipment and vital training.
Our involvement went from strength to strength, purchasing 5 community defibrillators, organising life saving training with Tadcaster Community Swimming Pool. Nicola has established a community support group, working with Kirsty. This service provides our community with a helpline to access help at these difficult times doing shopping, collecting prescriptions and general well being support. We are actively involved in the community, giving support and care to our town and surrounding areas. We understand oral health matters and are here to provide you with the best oral care possible.
We can provide group oral health education sessions to small groups and also visit schools to speak to the little ones. We also offer one-on-one oral health education sessions if you are looking for help with maintaining a healthy mouth. Please contact us to find out more!
