Dental Phobia

At Bridge Street Dental Surgery in Tadcaster we specialise and take great pride in looking after patients who are nervous and transform them into patients who can come for regular check ups.

Robert Eades our Principal Dentist sees all of our new private patients who are nervous or phobic, all treatment is carried out with his wife Nicola Eades and Judith Cockerill our qualfied dental nurses. This ensures all your continued care and trust is gained with the same people. Nicola is available to discuss your treatment plans and any fears out of the surgery with Sue our patient co-ordinator.

Dental fear and phobia can be caused by previous experiences as a child or an adult. This fear or phobia may have been caused by physical treatment or transferred through communication. Fears and phobia can be caused from other people fearing the dentist and the spreading of dental myths, or horror stories, from friends or colleagues. These  fears, experiences and myths can put people off visiting the dentist even if they badly need treatment.

Please look at our approach and technology "Gentle Dentistry" and "Questions and Fears" that arise from our new patients.

We are registering New Patients: £17 for an Examination, X-rays, Scale & Polish Affordable Private Care
